Soil Engineering Laboratory
Prerequisite: ENG38 3013 Soil Engineering or study concurrently
Laboratory works which include the practices of basic soil investigation, soil physical and mechanical properties testing, soil engineering classification.
Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to apply results from laboratory testing for classify and assess the physical and engineering properties of soils.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform the laboratory tests with the security awareness of themselves and group member.
- Demonstrate the responsibility for the use of tools and test apparatus in the laboratory and show a public mind in the use of laboratory space.
- Demonstrate the ability to work together as a group member and group leader.
