Satellite Communications
Prerequisite : ENG27 2304 Principles of Communications
The fundamentals and the techniques for the design and analysis of satellite communication systems, the basic technical knowledge of satellite orbits, frequency allocation, subsystems used in space segment and ground segment, power and bandwidth requirement, effect of transmission medium, link calculation and signal propagation, frequency and time division multiple accesses, the basics of satellite networking.
