วัตถุดิบยางธรรมชาติ ยางสังเคราะห์ และเทอร์โมพลาสติกอิลาสโตเมอร์ กระบวนการและเทคนิคในการผสมทางกลเพื่อผลิตยางคอมโพสิท การเสริมแรงด้วยคาร์บอนแบล็คและซิลิกา เทคโนโลยีการผลิตยางล้อ และการทดสอบสมบัติทางกล

ผลสัมฤทธิ์การเรียนรู้

                    เมื่อสิ้นสุดการเรียนรายวิชานี้ นักศึกษาจะมีความสามารถด้านต่าง ๆ ต่อไปนี้

1. สามารถเลือกชนิดของวัตถุดิบยาง สารเสริมแรง รวมทั้งการดัดแปรพื้นผิวของสารเสริมแรงสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์ยางคอมโพสิท
2. สามารถอธิบายขั้นตอนการผสม คำนวณสัดส่วนในห้องผสม พิสูจน์เอกลักษณ์การบ่ม รวมทั้งเปรียบเทียบวิธีการบ่มขึ้นรูปยางคอมโพสิทด้วยกระบวนการบ่มแบบต่างๆ ได้
3. สามารถอธิบายเทคโนโลยีการผลิตยางล้อ และระบุองค์ประกอบ กระบวนการผลิต และทดสอบยางล้อ

Rubber Composites

Prerequisite:  Consent of the school

Natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and thermoplastic elastomer. Preparation technique for rubber composites. Carbon black and silica for industrial reinforcement. Tire technology and related mechanical testing.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Able to select raw materials, reinforcing filler, modification for rubber composite products.
2. Able to describe mixing step and cure characteristic. Ability to estimate fill factor and compare between each type of vulcanization.
3. Able to explain tire technology and identify tire component, processing, testing, and characterization.
