Remote Sensing Geology Laboratory
Prerequisite: ENG34 3125 Remote Sensing Geology or study concurrently
Applications of remote sensing data and satellite images in mineral exploration and structural geology identification, laboratory practice and field work.
Learning outcomes
- Know the appropriate remote sensing data to record and collect and use the appropriate tools, variables and equipment to obtain the desired information.
- Use appropriate remote sensing surveying tools to analyze rock and mineral exploration data and to identify geological structure features and verify and validate experimental results.
