Process Planning and Cost Estimation

Prerequisite : None

Process planning, costs and expenses estimation. Estimation in foundry shop, Forging shop, welding shop, sheet metal shop. Estimation of machining time for lathe operations, drilling, boring, milling and grinding operations.

Learning Outcomes

1. Estimate processing time and cost in a foundry, forging, welding, sheet metal, and machining shop. (PI = 2.1)
2. Plan fabrication processes according to work requirements. (PI = 2.2)
