ปฏิบัติการเตรียมพอลิเมอร์ซึ่งสัมพันธ์กับหัวข้อที่สอนในรายวิชาหลักปฏิกิริยาการเตรียมพอลิเมอร์ ฝึกการเตรียมพอลิเมอร์ด้วยเทคนิคพอลิเมอไรเซชันที่ผิวสัมผัส พอลิเมอไรเซชันแบบบัลค์และพอลิเมอไรซันแบบอิมัลชัน ทดลองเกี่ยวกับการตรวจสอบโครงสร้างและน้ำหนักโมเลกุลของพอลิเมอร์ด้วยเทคนิคยูวีสเปคโตรมิตรี เทคนิคเจลเพอมีเอชันโครมาโตกราฟีและเทคนิคการวัดความหนืดแบบแคพิลลารีตามลำดับ

สามารถอภิปรายผลการทดลองบนพื้นฐานของเทคนิคการตรวจสอบโครงสร้างและเทคนิคการหาน้ำหนักโมเลกุลของพอลิเมอร์
สามารถรวบรวมและนำเสนอข้อมูล และคำนวณค่าต่าง ๆ โดยใช้สมการที่เกี่ยวข้องได้อย่างถูกต้องเหมาะสม
สามารถทำงาน สื่อสาร และประสานงานกับเพื่อนในทีมและระหว่างทีม

Polymerization and Characterization Laboratory

Prerequisite: ENG28 2102 Polymer Chemistry and Polymerization

Experimental works on the preparation of polymers that related to the topics in subject Principles of polymerization. Practice on how to synthesize polymer using interfacial polymerization, bulk polymerization and emulsion polymerization techniques; Experiments on characterization of polymer structure and polymer molecular weight using UV-spectrometry, gel permeation chromatography and capillary viscometry techniques respectively

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Able to discuss the experimental results based on principles of step and chain polymerization
Able to discuss the experimental results based on principles of structure characterization and molecular weight determination.
Able to collect the experimental data and be able to present the data using appropriated graphs or tables

Able to work as a team and communicate effectively
