Extruder types, extruder hardware, single screw extruder, process analysis, screw types, twin screw extruder, die types, coextrusion, troubleshooting extrusion
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Able to classify extruder types and extruder hardware
- Able to explain extrusion process
- Able to explain screw and die types
- Able to choose suitable screw and die design for extrusion
- Able to analyze and troubleshoot extrusion problems
- Able to recognizes participant roles in a team setting and fulfills appropriate roles to assure team success
