Organization and Maintenance Management

Prerequisite : None

Concept of organization and management; revolution of organization and management theory; modern management; management function, planning; organization of production and service system; human resource management; innovation management system in organization. The principle of maintenance management, preventive maintenance, total productive maintenance, root cause of machine worn out, maintenance organization, maintenance planning and control, machine reliability, failure rate and maintenance capability analysis.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Explain concept of organization and management correctly.
2. Planning and control of maintenance considering organization, personnel and resources in maintenance.
3. Apply statistics in computing reliability and failure rate.
4. Monitor and evaluate maintenance capability.
