Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace

Prerequisite:     none

                               Principal of occupational health and safety in the workplace, laws related to occupational health and safety, environmental hazards as physical hazards, chemical hazards, biological hazards, safety and psychosocial, occupational disease, principal of hazard controls, machine safety, electrical safety and maintenance safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety inspection, accident investigation, job safety analysis, basic of risk assessment, fire prevention and control, and safety management in the workplace.

1. Explain concept or principal of occupational health and safety in the workplace.
2. Explain concept or theory of hazard prevention and control in the workplace.
3. Select appropriate personal protective equipment.
4. Apply concept or theory related to safety management in the workplace.
