การศึกษาหัวข้อโครงงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโลหวิทยาหรือวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมโลหการ โดยโครงงานนั้นต้องเป็นการพัฒนาสิ่งที่มีอยู่แล้วให้ดีขึ้น หรือเป็นการบูรณาการสร้างองค์ความรู้ใหม่ หรือเป็นการแก้ปัญหาอุตสาหกรรม มีลำดับขั้นตอน ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยในดำเนินโครงการ ประกอบไปด้วย การศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูล นำเสนอโครงร่างโครงงานวิชาชีพฯ ดำเนินการวิจัย การรายงานผลความก้าวหน้า ต้องมีการเขียนรายงานฉบับสมบูรณ์ และการสอบปากเปล่าโดยอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาและคณะกรรมการสอบ

บูรณาการหลักความรู้ทางทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับโลหวิทยาและวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมโลหการเข้ากับการลงมือปฏิบัติเพื่อการทำโครงงานวิศวกรรมผ่านการเรียนรู้โดยใช้โครงงานเป็นฐาน
ใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัย การค้นคว้า การวางแผน การดำเนินการทดลอง เพื่อให้ได้ข้อสรุปของโจทย์โครงงาน
นำเสนอผลงานโครงงานด้วยการนำเสนอปากเปล่าและเขียนรายงานสรุปผลของโครงงาน

Metallurgical Engineering Professional Project

9 Credits

Prerequisite : consent of the school

Study an engineering problem in metallurgy or metallurgical engineering professional fields for the development or integration of the new knowledge or solution of industrial problem. Research project methodology includes literature review, project proposal, experimentation, progress report. Final report and oral presentation are required to fullfill the course assessment by advisors and project assessment committee

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

Intergrate theoretical knowledge in metallurgy and metallurgical profession with practice in conducting engineering project through project-based learning
Apply research methodology e.g. information retrieval, planning, and conducting the experiment to find the final solution of the problem in metallurgical engineering field
Deliver an oral presentation and write the final report of the project
