การวัดด้วยเครื่องมือวัดขั้นพื้นฐาน เช่น เวอร์เนียร์คาลิปเปอร์ ไมโครมิเตอร์ และการทวนสอบเครื่องมือวัดก่อนการใช้งาน การฝึกปฏิบัติเครื่องมือพื้นฐานในงานวิศวกรรม เช่น เลื่อย หินเจียร สว่าน แคลมป์ กระบวนการตัดเฉือนโลหะ ได้แก่ การกัด การกลึง และ การทำรู การฝึกปฏิบัติการเชื่อมโลหะ การทำสีชิ้นส่วนโลหะ ความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงานผลิตชิ้นส่วนโลหะ

Metal Part and Structure Manufacturing Laboratory

Prerequisite: ENG65 2212 Manufacturing of Metal Parts and Structures II or study concurrently

Measurements by basic instruments e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer and verification of instruments before use; practice of basic tools for engineering works e.g., saw, grinder, drill, clamp;
metal cutting processes i.e., milling, turning and hole making; practice of metal welding; painting of metal parts; safety in metal part manufacturing.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):

1. Perform measurements by basic instruments.
2. Use various basic tools for manufacturing metal parts and structures.
3. Perform manufacturing of metal parts and structures i.e., metal cutting, metal welding and painting.
4. Explain methods for performing metal part and structure manufacturing, safely.
