Legal Concepts and Contract Administration

Prerequisite : Consent of the School

Construction and legal System; litigation procedure; general principles of contracts; construction contracts; tortuous liabilities; law relating to land; construction statutes; construction claims and disputes; construction risks and insurances.

Learning Outcomes

1. To understand the legal system and the litigation process.
2. To understand laws on land and property and the construction related laws.
3. Be able to draft and administrate the standard construction contracts.
4. To understand the conflict and risk management in construction.
