Inventory Management

Prerequisite:     ENG22 2003 Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Fundamental knowledge of stock and inventory, inventory control and management, economic order quantity, forecasting demand, material requirements planning, just-in-time.

1. Explain the importance of inventory management.
2. Describe the type of inventory.
3. Calculate economical order quantities.
4. Describe the just in time.
5. Understand the principles of demand forecasting.and solving problems in class.
6. Solve some case studies, and plan to control inventory appropriately.
