Introduction to Database Systems

Prerequisite : None

Fundamental concepts and principles of database systems, Entity-Relationship (ER) modelling; Relational database design using ER modelling, and SQL (Structured Query Language).

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Understand the basic concepts and principles of database systems.
2. Create an Entity-Relationship (ER) model.
3. Design a relational database using the ER model.
4. Use Structured Query Language (SQL) commands for data analysis.
