Industrial Automation Systems

Prerequisite : ENG64 3406 Industrial Control

The current automated systems in industrial factories, the structure and working principles of PLC, writing control instructions for PLC operations, the principles of operation of sensors used in industrial, designing automated production control systems with PLC.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. To describe the structure and working principle of PLC correctly.
2. Wiring the pneumatic control circuit with PLC according to the assigned working conditions.
3. To design a PLC to control the automation.
