Highway Materials Testing
Prerequisite: ENG59 3332 Sustainable Road Engineering or study concurrently
Standards and specifications; properties of aggregate and asphalt cement; asphalt concrete mix design; engineering properties of asphalt concrete.
Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)
1. Be able to design and conduct laboratory experiments to determine the properties of aggregates, asphalt cement, and asphalt concrete according to highway materials standards.
2. Be able to work with others and contribute in a constructive manner to group and team activities.
