General Geology

Prerequisite: None

Introduction to the origin of the Earth and Solar Systems, Earth’s internal structure, mineral and rock properties, igneous and volcanism, rock weathering and soil formation, sediment and sedimentary rock, metamorphism and metamorphic rocks, geologic time, mass movement, surface water and groundwater processes, glacier, deserts, and shoreline, plate movement and deformation, earthquake, and geologic structure.
