Fundamental skills of Aeronautical Engineering 

Prerequisite:  none

Overview of aeronautical engineering, aeronautical engineering seminar, introduction to principle of flight, aircraft components and systems, introduction to aerodynamics, aircraft structure, aircraft powerplant, aircraft instruments, flight limitations, Air Laws, fundamentals of aviation safety and airworthiness, flight training with flight simulator

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Students have a clear perception of aeronautical engineering program.
2. Students possess good presentation skills.
3. Students are able to correctly explain basic principle of flight, identify and describe aircraft components and systems.
4. Students have good understanding of Air Laws, fundamental of aviation safety, and airworthiness.
5. Students can perform basic flight controls using flight simulator.
