Fundamental of Electrical Engineering

Prerequisite : ENG64 1108 Physics II

Basic DC and AC circuit analyses, voltage, current and power, transformers, introduction to electrical machinery, generators, motors and their uses, concepts of three-phase systems, method of power transmission, introduction to some basic electrical instruments.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Students have learned and understood the analysis of DC and AC electrical circuits, basic electrical transformers, and basic electrical machinery. They can also explain the methods of transmitting electrical power and the principles of operation of basic electrical measuring instruments.
