Fundamental of Electrical Engineering

Prerequisite : SCI05 1002 PHYSICS II

Analysis of AC and DC circuits at the fundamental level, including voltage, current, and power. Transformers, basic electrical machinery, power generation, motors, and their applications. Three-phase system concepts, methods of electrical power transmission, and basic electrical measurement tools.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Analyze various factors that affect the operation of both DC and AC electrical circuits.
2. Examine the factors that impact the operation of three-phase electrical transformer systems.
3. Investigate the factors influencing the operation of basic electrical machinery.
4. Explain the methods of electrical power transmission and the principles of operation of basic electrical measurement tools.
