Atomic theory and electronic structure of atoms, periodic properties of atoms, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, gases, liquids, solids, chemical equilibrium, general properties of acids and bases, and chemical kinetics.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify the correct steps and procedures to solve problems related to atomic theory and electron structure, periodic properties of elements, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, gases, liquids, and solids. (PI = 1.1)
- Apply chemical principles of chemical equilibrium, general properties of acids and bases, and chemical kinetics together with mathematical and scientific knowledge to analyze and solve engineering problems appropriately. (PI = 1.1)
