Financial Management for Construction

Prerequisite : Consent of the School

Conventions in accounting; bookkeeping fundamentals; financial statement preparation; analyzing company financial data; cost control concepts; cost account structures; bid preparation and cost recovery; cost estimation; accounting for equipment costs; accounting for job and fixed overhead costs.

Learning Outcomes

1. To understand the bookkeeping principles.
2. Be able to prepare the financial statements and analyze the financial data.
3. Be able to plan and control the construction project cost.
4. Be able to develop the cost control system for construction projects.
