Environmental Health and Safety Management in Workplace
Prerequisite: None
Basic concept of environment, health and safety management in an occupational environment; legislations and regulations; physical, biological, and chemical hazard and ergonomics risk assessment and risk management; workplace safety inspection; job design and workplace to suit the job and worker.
Learning outcomes
- Understand background knowledge on environmental occupational health and safety management system.
- Understand background knowledge on law and standard about occupational health and safety.
- Understand of risk management principle includes physical, chemical, biological, radiological and chemical safety and ergonomic.
- Able to collect and evaluate data to identify safety in workplace.
- Adapt the knowledge in job design and workplace to suit the job and worker follow the relevant law and standard.
