Electrical Engineering Materials

Prerequisite:    SCI05 1002 Physics II and ENG31 1001 Engineering Materials

Structure of materials; electrical properties of materials; magnetic properties of materials; electrical conductors; Introduction to semiconductor devices; superconductivity; solid, liquid and gas dielectrics; applications of materials in electrical power.

Learning outcomes

1. Know and understand electrical material structures.
2. Able to categorize the electrical material properties and define the conductors and insulators.
