Economic Decision Analysis in Construction

Prerequisite : Consent of the School

Basic concepts of engineering economy; engineering economics; comparison of economic alternatives; market consideration in economic decisions; economic analysis under special conditions; economic decision making under risk and uncertainty.

Learning Outcomes

1. To understand the foundations of engineering economy.
2. Be able to calculate the time value of money.
3. Be able to evaluate different alternatives in the aspect of economy.
4. Be able to apply benefit cost ratio analysis.
