Drilling Technology

Prerequisite: ENG34 3112 Drilling Engineering

Study the process to drill the directional well including type 1 (Build and hold), type 2 (Build hold and Drop), type 3 (Continue Build) and type 4 (Horizontal profile) and can calculate and design the drilling parameter to drill the directional well for 4 types. Study the working process of mud logger during drill petroleum well.

Learning outcomes

1. Understand and explain the fundamental to drill the direction well.
2. Design the drilling parameter to drill the directional well.
3. Understand and explain the duty and working process of the Mud Logger.
4. Follow the rules and course requirements and be responsible for assigned tasks.
