Dimensional Metrology and CMM

This course is the study of how measurements are specified and communicated using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards; differences between the concepts of true value, precision, accuracy and reproducibility and define the concepts of error and uncertainty; developing a measurement strategy. Learners will gain hand-on experience in using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and develop a sense of responsibility for the measurement process and its practical application.
