Digital Telephony Networks
Prerequisite: 527246 Data Communications and Networks
Introduction of digital telephony nteworks, principle and architecture of basic telephone network, principle and architecture of IP telephone network, voice coding, digital transmission and multiplexing, digital switching, signaling systems, forecast and analyze telephone traffic.
Learning outcomes
Having successfully completed this course, student must be able to:
1. Understand principle and architecture of basic and IP telephone network.
2. Gain the necessary skills for working in telephone network.
3. Gain moral, ethics and honesty in every step of forecasting, analyzing and problem solving process in telephone network.
