Design of Harvesting Machinery

Prerequisite:  ENG21 3007 Agricultural Machinery Design

Physical characteristics of agricultural products; principles of cutting of agricultural materials and types of cutter; principles of reeling and pulling, conveying of plant stem, threshing; seed cleaning systems; specific harvesting equipment.

Learning outcomes.

1. Describe components, operational and design principles of harvesting machines.
2. calculate and design mechanisms of different harvesting machines.
