Prerequisite : 530316 Reinforced Concrete Design I

Fundamental construction cost estimation, contract document, specifications, construction material types, estimation methods for major works i.e. earthwork, concrete work, rebar work, architectural work, finishing work, and other service works, analysis of unit costs of materials, labor, and machine, bills of quantities, bid price preparation, bidding strategy, procurement.

Learning outcomes

1. To know techniques of quantity take off in construction works.
2. The estimation techniques using the breakdown items, materials and labor and then how to obtain the cost for the project cost estimation
3. Able to make bid document and contracts.
