Prerequisite : 530312 Concrete Technology and 530314 Theory of Structure.

Project delivery systems, project organization, site layout, project planning, modern construction technology, construction equipments, critical path method (CPM), resource management, progress measurement, construction safety, quality systems.

Learning outcomes

To understand the special characteristics of construction project work, project delivery systems, and project organization
Be able to arrange construction project schedules using the common techniques i.e. Critical Path Method and Line of Balance
Be able to plan project resources in order to achieve the optimum utilization
Be able to monitor and control the project progress using the Earned Value Concept
