สามารถเขียนแผนภาพการไหลของกระบวนการผลิต บอกหน่วยปฏิบัติการและเครื่องมือที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนบ่งชี้พารามิเตอร์ที่สำคัญในกระบวนการนั้นๆ รวมถึงให้ข้อเสนอแนะเบื้องต้นเพื่อแก้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นในกระบวนการผลิตได้

Chemical Process Industries

Prerequisite: none

Overview of chemical engineering profession. Process characteristics and equipment used in chemical process industries, process flow diagram preparation. Chemical engineering fundamentals, safety and environmental impacts of chemical industries, water conditioning process, chemical processing in some industries, raw material, sources of energy and type of equipment in different industries and related plant visits.

Learning outcomes

Understand chemical engineering profession and its relation to other disciplines, aware of career options and potential job functions.
Be able to list chemical processes, units, and the corresponding equipment and understand the manufacturing of various chemical products.
Be able to draw the process flow diagram and various process parameters and to identify and to suggest solutions for engineering problems during production.
