Prerequisite:  ENG25 2020 Thermodynamics I

Mass and energy balance in processing of agricultural products; Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow; measurement and control of parameters in agricultural processing; psychometrics; thermal processing; size reduction and separation.

Learning outcomes

1. Describe basic processes, including fluid flow, measurement and parameter control, thermal processing in agricultural product processing.
2. Apply derived knowledge to solve problems in agricultural product processing.
