การสำรวจสถานที่ก่อสร้างและการจัดทำรายงานด้านวิศวกรรมปฐพี การประเมินพารามิเตอร์เพื่อใช้ในงานวิศวกรรมปฐพี ฐานรากตื้น การใช้เครื่องมือตรวจวัดในงานเสาเข็ม การประเมินผลการทดสอบเสาเข็มการปรับปรุงกำลังรับน้ำหนักเสาเข็มโดยการอัดฉีดน้ำปูนที่ปลาย/ผิวเสาเข็ม ทฤษฎีแรงดันดินด้านข้างโครงสร้างกันดิน การใช้เครื่องมือตรวจวัดในงานขุดลึกมาก การใช้วิธี observation เพื่อการออกแบบและก่อสร้างโครงสร้างกันดิน

Advanced Foundation Engineering

Prerequisite : Consent of the School

Site investigation and geotechnical report; evaluation of geotechnical parameters; shallow foundation; instrumentation for pile; evaluation of instrumented pile load test results; improvement of bored pile capacity by toe/shaft grouting; earth pressure theories; retaining structures, instrumentation for deep excavation, observational method for design and construction of retaining structures.

Learning Outcomes

Be able to make decision on soil investigation and selection of soil parameters for advanced design of foundation, earth retaining structures, and earth slopes.
Be able to apply soil mechanics and related civil engineering knowledge on the advanced foundation design.
Be able to develop necessary skill in the advanced foundation design and be able to define problem, think and communicate effectively and synthesis for collaborating with other engineering fields.
