Sarunya Kanjanawattana was born in Naknonratchasima, Thailand, in 1986. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering in 2008 from Suranaree University of Technology in Nakhonratchasima, Thailand, and a Master of Engineering in 2011 from Asian Institute of Technology in Pathum Thani, Thailand. In 2017, she graduated from Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan, with a doctorate in functional control systems. In 2011, she became a research assistant at Thailand’s National Electronics and Computer Technology Center. The objective of her study was to identify the best solution to traffic congestion. She is currently an assistant professor in the computer engineering department at Suranaree University of Technology. Her areas of interest in study were data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, ontology, deep learning and telemedicine.
