Pre-Capstone Design for Industrial Electrical Engineering

Prerequisite : None

Analysis of engineering problems, including needs, requirements/specifications and constraints-to identify solution approaches; literature review; definition of objectives and project scope; project planning; preparation of project proposals; technical report writing, scholarly article writing; presentation of results; and communication skills.

Learning Outcomes

1. Investigate and gather information, requirements, and constraints of the engineering problem. (PI = 5.1)
2. Select appropriate media and communication formats for the audience and context. (PI = 7.1)
3. Communicate technical content using appropriate tools. (PI = 7.2)
4. Write project proposals and technical reports, academic articles in accordance with academic conventions and proper citation standards. (PI = 7.3)
