Basic Manufacturing Processes Laboratory
Prerequisite : None
Basic industrial production process practice; use of equipment and tools for casting, sheet metal forming, plastic injection and compression molding; use of equipment, tools and machines for turning and drilling processes, joining, and material property improvement processes by heat treatment.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyze engineering part drawings to determine the manufacturing process of the workpiece according to the drawing. (PI = 2.1)
- Design the manufacturing processes for workpieces using basic manual tools and machinery to produce workpieces according to part drawings. (PI = 2.2)
- Consider safety, value and the environment in using basic manual tools and machinery to produce workpieces according to drawings. (PI = 2.3)
- Set goals, plan and manage the work schedule to meet the time frame of the project. (PI = 5.2)
