Telephone Networks and Mobile Communications

Prerequisite : ENG27 2304 Principles of Communications

Principle of telephone networks; Principle of IP telephone networks; Mobile communications; Components of mobile communication networks; Channel capacity; MIMO system; Traffic prediction and analysis; Standards of 4G 5G 6G and NTN mobile communications.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Can use knowledge to design telephone networks by considering economics and engineering values.
2. Can evaluate and analyze values in economics and engineering for designing mobile communication networks.
