หลักทั่วไปในการดัดแปรพอลิเมอร์ ประเภทและสมบัติของสารเติมแต่ง พฤติกรรมทางกายภาพของสารเติมแต่ง การทำคอมพาวนด์พอลิเมอร์และสารเติมแต่ง ประเด็นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสารเติมแต่งกับสุขภาพ ความปลอดภัยและสิ่งแวดล้อม พฤติกรรมทางกายภาพของสารเติมแต่ง และการนำเสนองานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับสารเติมแต่ง

ผลสัมฤทธิ์การเรียนรู้

                    เมื่อสิ้นสุดการเรียนรายวิชานี้ นักศึกษาจะมีความสามารถด้านต่าง ๆ ต่อไปนี้

1. สามารถบอกหน้าที่ของสารเติมแต่งแต่ละชนิด และเลือกประเภทของสารเติมแต่งให้เหมาะสมกับการใช้งาน
2. สามารถอธิบายข้อมูลความปลอดภัยของสารเคมี
3. สามารถบอกวิธีการเติมสารเติมแต่งในพอลิเมอร์
4. สามารถอธิบายการละลายของสารเติมแต่งในพอลิเมอร์และการสูญเสียสารเติมแต่งใน
   พอลิเมอร์

Polymer Additives and Modification

Prerequisite:  Consent of the school

General principles of polymer modification, properties of additives, physical behavior of additives, compounding of polymers and additives, aspects of additive relative to health, safety and environment, presentation in additives research

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Able to explain function of each additives and select suitable additives for polymer applications
2. Able to explain material data safety sheet (MSDS)
3. Able to explain methods to incorporate additives into polymers
4. Able to explain solubility of additives in polymer and additive loss from polymer
