Warehouse Management                                                       

Prerequisite:     ENG22 2003 Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Fundamental knowledge of warehouse, storage system, material handling system, activity and process in warehouse, warehouse layout and design concept, warehouse management system (WMS), warehouse operation performance indicator, warehouse costs, warehouse safety and security, and technology in warehouse.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Understand and explain concept or principal of warehousing.
2. Understand and explain activity and process of warehousing.
3. Understand technology and system of storage, material handling and warehouse operation.
4. Identify problems in warehouse planning and operation and discuss how to improve warehouse planning and operation efficiently.
