Surveying Laboratory

Prerequisite:     ENG25 1010  Engineering Graphics I, ENG22 2012  Surveying in Transportation or enrolling with ENG22 2012  Surveying in Transportation

Introduction to map reading, horizontal distance measurement, Theodolite, horizontal and vertical angle measurement, differential leveling, Profile and cross section, traversing, detail surveys, topographic mapping, Geographic Information System (GIS), and satellite surveying.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

1. Explain Introduction to map reading, horizontal distance measurement, Theodolite, horizontal and vertical angle measurement, differential leveling and traversing.
2. Create Profile and cross section and topographic mapping.
3. Use Geographic Information System (GIS) and satellite surveying.
