Fluid Engineering
Prerequisite : ENG51 0204 Fluid static
Study of fluid properties, flow characteristics, flow control equations in pipes; Pressure loss in piping systems and equipment; Pump performance curves and pump selection.
Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)
- Calculate losses in pipes and equipment with fluid flow; Pipe sizing Assessment of building water demand; pump and motor selection.
- Explain and create a pump performance curve.
- Apply the simulation software to simulate and analyze engineering problems related to fluid flow.
