Environmental Chemistry II

Prerequisite: ENG32 2101 Environmental Chemistry I

General considerations of chemical and physical characteristics of wastewater; methods for determination and application of data to environmental engineering works; sampling collection and preservation; determinations of solids, DO, BOD, COD, nitrogen, phosphorus, oil and grease, and volatile fatty acids; introduction to organic chemistry; chemical equilibrium.

1. Can explain chemical fundamental of physical and chemical characteristics of wastewater.
2. Can explain methods for determination and application of data to environmental engineering works.
3. Can explain concept of wastewater sampling, collection, and preservation.
