Water Resources Engineering

              Water resources engineering was formerly one of the divisions in the School of Civil Engineering which had offered some basic courses in hydrology, hydraulic, hydraulic engineering, water supply engineering and irrigation engineering.  Applications include the management of the urban water supply, the design of urban storm-sewer systems, the analysis of flood forecasting, the fluid mechanics of water flowing, the design of hydraulic structures, the management of waterways and the operation of irrigation.  These applications of water resources engineering are based a vital role in the optimal planning, design and operation of water resource systems.
